Reading Area Community College May, 2016 – present

 An intensive, two-year professional development opportunity funded by a grant from the
National Endowment for the Humanities, this collaborative, educational project is designed to
increase knowledge of Hispanic culture with the goal of creating new courses and materials
as well as to more effectively understand and respect the Hispanic community the college
serves.

Placement Testing and Accreditation Reader,
Reading Area Community College August 2010 – December 2014

 Trained to read placement-test essays to determine student placement in writing course upon
admissions and critique post-semester student writing for submission to administration to be
used for college accreditation.

Faculty Advisor for Legacy,
the scholarly journal of Reading Area Community College 2012 academic year
 Recruit and organize students for leadership and staff roles.
 Oversee production of journal, including training student in aspects of publicity, submissions,
and layout.
